Ark's Weighted Pencil

ARK's Weighted Pencil is a writing tool recommended for individuals with sensory integration issues and/or undeveloped fine motor control. The weight and textured surface of the pencil provide increased sensory input and proprioceptive feedback to the hand while writing. These sensations may increase focus, normalize writing speed, increase hand strength and dexterity, and/or decrease the grip force used to hold a pen/pencil.

Comfort Pen (Model 16H139)

The Comfort Pen, model 16H139, is a writing aid designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or mobility disabilities or limited hand and arm strength. Its shape and size allow a bent thumb grasp and prevent pressure points developing in the fold of the thumb. It also prevents straining of the forefinger. The pen can be filled with weights such as lead pellets or sand to produce weight variations.

Squiggle Wiggle Writer

The Squiggle Wiggle Writer is a weighted pen designed for use by children with upper extremity fine motor disabilities. This triangular, weighted pen is useful for developing pen and pencil grasp and the pen's vibration enhances kinesthetic awareness of the hand. Weighted Pen (Models 79200 & 79201)

The Weighted Pen is designed for use by individuals with arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson disase, and other fine motor, neurological, or upper extremity disabilities. This pen has a large barrel with five weights in it.
