The Freedom SP1 Folding Tilt is a manual tilt in space wheelchair designed for use by children or adults with mobility disabilities. FRAME: Lightweight fixed front end frame in a choice of folding or rigid styles and long or standard configurations. Anti-tip tubes and short push handles are standard. Medium or tall push handles are available at no charge and adjustable clamps and push handle extensions are extra cost options. The frames accommodate growth and are available in a choice of frame widths from 10 to 18 inches wide in one inch increments. Frame depths are available from 8 to 15 inches in the regular configuration and from 14 to 22 inches in the long configuration. This chair is available with a choice of a 75- or 90-degree front end. The frame is available in magenta, red, gloss black, turquoise, pewter, glittering gold, emerald green, or two-tone magenta and turquoise. A transport option is available. SEAT: A fixed offset solid seat and back are standard. Options include a solid seat and back with angle adjustable hardware. The seat rail to floor height ranges from 13.5 to 19 inches depending upon caster and wheel size and caster fork size. TILT: A choice of 90, 95, or 100 degrees. Lateral hip and thigh supports are available. ARMRESTS: Detachable flip-up armrests are standard. Locking flip-back armrests and back mounted flip-back armrests are optional. BRAKES: Push-to-lock brakes are standard and pull-to-lock brakes are available at no cost, as is rear mounting of brakes. Wheel lock extensions are extra cost options. CASTERS: A choice of 3-, 5-, 6- or 7-inch poly casters or 6-inch pneumatic casters is standard. Optional casters include 5 x 1.5 inch or 6 x 1.5 inch poly casters, 8 x 2 inch pneumatic casters or 8 x 2 inch pneumatic casters with airless inserts. WHEELS: A choice of 12-, 16-, 18-, 20- or 22-inch mag wheels with pneumatic tires is standard. Spoked 20-, 22, or 24-inch wheels with pneumatic tires are no cost options. Twelve-inch mag wheels with poly tires and airless inserts for pneumatic tires are extra-cost options. Aluminum handrims are standard and plastic-coated handrims are available at an extra charge. This chair can be configured with the drive wheels in front or in back. FOOTRESTS: A footboard is standard. Oprions include footplates, a flip-up footboard, flip-up footplates, an asymmetrical footboard, and others. OPTIONS: Medical necessities bag, backpack, canopy, and a canopy with viser. CAPACITY: 150 pounds for chairs from 10 to 17 inches wide and 200 pounds for 18-inch wide chairs. WEIGHT: The frame weighs 30 pounds.
