The Avant Polar HIT+ is a hearing aid acoustic test system designed for use by audiologists for fitting and evaluating hearing aids. It conducts a battery of selectable ANSI and IEC hearing aid tests inside an accoustically isolated chamber with a motor-driven rotating test pad that automatically generates directional polar plots. Measurements include directionality; OSPL 90; full on gain; reference test gain; frequency response; equivalent input noise; harmonic distortion; battery drain; input - output; attack / release; and induction coil. Lighted visual indicators show when a test is active. Results are stored in NOAH and can be printed. POWER: Uses power from USB connection to computer.
